We are nearing the end of summer, a lot of children are back at school already or will start back soon. Mikey still has just under a month left before he begins Kindergarten at a new school, something he’s very excited about but I’m still a little nervous for him.
The summer so far has been slow and easy. We haven’t done a lot of the things I had originally intended to do, but that has been ok. We’ve just been taking each days as it comes: Spending time at the park or the playground, drawing with chalk on the sidewalk, riding his scooter, visiting the library. We’ve still managed to always have something to record in our Summer Journals. We still have some weeks left of summer, perhaps we can fit in a few more activities and fun outings before Mikey is in school for a full day, every day.
