The nicer weather we had over Spring Break last week brought us out of the apartment to spend some time playing outside. It wasn’t so warm that we didn’t still need our coats, but at least warm enough to spend some time at the playground.

My husband was away at a conference for the week, but Mikey and I still had a lot of fun together over the break. We visited the Nature Museum and ate out at a cute sandwich shop. Mikey rode his scooter and we drew pictures of the solar system with chalk on the sidewalk outside our apartment building. The sunshine has been beautifully warm but the wind is still bitter at times.

Spring flowers are beginning to grow out of the cold soil and bloom. I’m looking forward to a little more colour.
