Ravenswood Remix
Last weekend in our neighbourhood was the Ravenswood Remix Recycled Art Fair, so we decided to make a trip over for a couple of hours with friends to check out the music, food trucks and the awesome recycled art. I adored some of the beautiful jewelry and art pieces and gabbed a few business cards so that I remember these small businesses for upcoming birthdays and holiday season. My neighbour kindly treated us all to ice cream on the way home, a perfect break after walking around in the sun looking at crafts and art.
I ended up buying one of these awesome grow-your-own mushroom kits made by Back to the Roots from the fair, I had seen them mentioned online a while back but had forgotten about it until I saw them at the art fair. Can’t wait to start harvesting some mushrooms, I’ve already shown Mikey the pictures of what the Oyster Mushrooms will look like when they’ve grown and he thinks it’s pretty cool. I’ll have to start thinking up some good recipes to use them in!
