Approaching Autumn

Chicago has us fooled into thinking that we are still in the throes of summer but the trees are telling a different story, one of an approaching autumn.

Things are busy behind the scenes. Mikey is getting ready for his first day of Preschool, his daddy is getting ready for his own next semester of school and we’re spending as much time together as we can before our routines change again.

I’m also working hard on this year’s Fall Photo Challenge, which we will be announcing soon. So keep an eye out for that, because it’s going to be such a fun Autumn!

Can’t believe how things change so fast in the midwest. Not many signs here yet. Boy was it hot and muggy today.

i cannot wait for fall! it has been so hot and humid here this summer fan is a fan no more. i miss the cool weather and being outdoors!

Same here. It’s been very warm still, but the trees are starting to turn and the leaves has started to fall!

it sure does look like fall making its debut there! we have a few trees that are starting to change a bit, but i’m trying to ignore it!! i love fall but try to hang onto summer as long as i possibly can. i’m never ready to say goodbye! beautiful photos, love the first one of Mikey’s converse sneakers!
