This is a scheduled post, I’m on my way back to Chicago and will be travelling all day. We’re going to have been up bright and early to get to the airport and although I will likely be home in time to post, I’m fairly confident that we will be exhausted after that long flight over the Atlantic Ocean.
We spent our last weekend here hanging out, playing and laughing. I know we’re both going to miss England and my family a lot, we were so lucky to be able to stay for so long.
Early last week, Mikey and I took a train out to Norwich for me to meet with an old school friend. We drove over to the seaside town of Cromer.
Mikey played at throwing stones and pebbles into the ocean, we watched people catching large crabs on the beach and from the pier in nets. Mikey was fascinated by the crabs and has been doing quite a good crab impression since then.
We walked along the coast a little, around the pretty pier and town, enjoying the sea air and chatting with an old friend. We returned to Norwich and caught the train back to my parents place, tired and with sand-filled shoes.
We’re going to be resting up at home, recovering from jet lag. I hope you all have a great week.
