English Countryside [Summer Daze]
We arrived in England on Wednesday morning after flying through the night from Chicago through to London and then being picked up at the airport and driven to my parents house.
We’re still both a little tired and jet-lagged a day or so later but that hasn’t stopped Mikey exploring and playing in my parents backyard and at a nearby park in between our catch-up naps and getting used to being in a drastically different time zone.
But it appears as though we’ve arrived just in time for a little sunshine followed an onslaught of rain over the weekend, so our plans for any British seaside adventures may have to be postponed.
Hopefully we’ll get a a break from the English rain some time during our trip! But still, it’s great to be here with my family regardless of the weather!
