A Break for Sunshine and Football
A treat to begin Mikey’s week. Monday brought us miserable rainy weather but we braved it for a nice long walk, in our raincoats and boots, to do a little shopping. Some new shoes were in order, which Mikey chose himself after much deliberation (he was quite taken by the stars on them). The prospect of a shiny new football to kick around on the sidewalk outside the front of our apartment building also couldn’t be passed up either. He insisted on wearing his new shoes as soon as we got home, and rolled his ball around the hardwood floor of the apartment for most of the evening.
We played outside on Tuesday morning, a brief spell of sunshine making a lovely difference from all of the thunder and rain we had over the weekend that kept us mostly indoors. Mikey has become much better at kicking the ball since we last played, I think his dance classes must have their part to play in that development, he has been just much more coordinated in general.
I’ve been busy over the weekend too, this week I’ve got a couple of posts about iphone photography for you. If you want to check them out I’ve written about some of my favourite photo apps and also some quick tips on iphone photography and photo filters.
