Books from the Library

When you get a little sick of reading the same four books over and over, it’s time to head to the library to look for something different. As much as we love Mikey’s favourite books (The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Go Dogs Go, The Tale of Tom Kitten, and Babar) it’s nice to change it up a little!

We found a few books about dance, Mikey’s still really loving his dance classes so we’re building on that as much as we can. We also picked up a couple of new-to-us storybooks and managed to only just avoid the downpour of rain on our way home. After the general lack of rain over the month of April, we know that it’s welcome, but it also has been stopping us from spending much time outside. Now we have some lovely library books to read so we can spend our afternoons sitting inside, watching the rain splash against the windows as we read.

There’s still some time left to enter my Pinhole Press $50 Gift Card Giveaway, entries close at Midnight CST Wednesday! Check here for how to enter. I’ll be drawing a winner on Thursday morning.

Don’t forget that we move onto the next Leap into Spring! Photo Challenge Prompt Green/Grass on Friday May 4th. There’s still a little time to link up for the last prompt, Water/Rain, if you haven’t done so yet! You can take a look at the upcoming prompts and find out more information on the challenge here. We’re looking forward to seeing more of your photos, and if you haven’t taken part before, please just jump on in, all are welcome!

  1. Some fun shots, Rebecca! We just got library cards and the kids have actually enjoyed the wii games. lol. It’s a dinky library tho and doesn’t offer much. I’d love to photograph a really old one. 🙂 Maybe one day…

That;s looks like a great library! I’m sad because they closed the awesome on in my city and left the janky one.
