Urban Birds
Sometimes walking and watching makes my heart swell, my eyes prickle. Oh, we are so flighty like urban birds. I took the above photos nearby to my apartment, as I usually do I suppose. A walk last Sunday that cleared my head some from weeks previous, there’s a story but it’s not mine to tell.
This video has been making the internet rounds lately, a friend of mine posted it on her facebook wall with these words – “I watched this the other day. Beautiful. Go ahead, let that heart well up.” If you haven’t seen it, then you should take a minute. I’ve seen this before in person, though never with anywhere near as many birds as this. Thanks for sharing. I love watching birds in their natural habits, especially birds of prey. I am still trying to master photographing birds, especially smaller birds that move pretty quickly.

Love your urban bird pics. I know what you mean about the heart swelling. I often feel that way as I observe nature. Gotta tell ya though, that video reminded me of that Alfred Hitchcock movie that gave me nightmares as a child. lol. Pretty amazing.
