Nesting, and the bare walls
Our new apartment. The blue room is the bedroom, orange is the diningroom and green the livingroom.
We moved in on Monday afternoon, our household goods arriving from storage on Tuesday morning. We’ve happy to have a home again, even if it does mean having to work out where to put everything after downsizing from a 3 bedroom to a 1 bedroom. The apartment is full of light and the neighbourhood is gorgeous, we’re excited to be here. Now just to put everything in its place and pretty up my new kitchen.

They helped us unpack as much as they could! But we still have altogether too many boxes to unpack. The joys of downsizing, I told my husband that we’re just going to throw everything out and become minimalists to make moving easier.

I didn’t choose the colours myself actually, the last tenants of the apartment painted them that colour and we told the landlady that they didn’t need to paint over them before they left because we liked it! So lovely and bright

I love all of the natural wood and light! The fun part of moving is being able to redecorate!

Love the eggs in the nest. you’ll have to post some pics of the apt once your moved in. Love the floors and colors. We just moved too and I was throwing stuff out. Its crazy how stuff just piles up.
