SoJo
It’s taken me a little while to post these, I took some maternity portraits for the beautiful Sarah of SoJo & Co last weekend. The weather was wonderful, we had a great time and I’m very thankful that both Sarah and John were willing to let me practice taking portraits of them!
I feel as though I’m starting to slowly improve at taking photographs of people (at least people who aren’t Mikey) and enjoying each set of challenges presented by different sessions. Portraits are not my strong suit and definitely something I’m hoping to get good at this year, that and experimenting a little more with light.

I love shots like these. I had always wanted to do them- but didn’t when I had the chance. Suppose I will have to wait until my daughters become mothers to have a photo like this of them instead of me.
