The British Seaside

Mikey’s first visit to the Seaside, wearing coats because of the biting British coastal wind and walking along the beach with his uncle. First proper Seaside Fish & Chips (there is a difference, trust me) eaten with bare fingers, burning the tips of them on the inside of the battered fish and wiping grease onto clothes.

Mikey’s Great Grandma is visiting with us at my parents house this week, she hasn’t seen him since before he could walk.

If you missed it, please check out my previous post, which contains some information and a sample track player for the new charity kids compilation album “Do Fun Stuff”, put together by Ryan Marshall of Pacing the Panic Room, which is raising awareness and money for a genetic disorder called Smith Magenis Syndrome.

It’s the Norfolk Coast, Holkham (the nearest town is Wells-Next-The-Sea). Very pretty along this part of the coast… my parents live about an hour and a half away.

That Fish & Chips place is our favourite in this area… sooooo good!
